Once I carried a watch, and a mobile phone. My music came on CDs at $35 a piece. In the car I had a torch and a digital camera. Stocks were checked in the newspaper and my news came through the television. Arguments were never settled.
Thanks Steve, for pushing all those guys who said, You can’t build a phone without buttons, and you can’t carry a million songs in your pocket. Thanks for hiring the guy who said “why dont we control the hardware and the software? ” Thanks for building the best thing you could.
His bio is simple;
- Macs
- Ipod
- Iphone
- Itunes store
- Ipad
- Pixar
We think the Mac will sell zillions, but we didn’t build the Mac for anybody else. We built it for ourselves. We were the group of people who were going to judge whether it was great or not. We weren’t going to go out and do market research. We just wanted to build the best thing we could build.
Tomorrow I’m going to get a bit closer to building the best thing I can.
